Zahedee Foundation
Activities
Zahedee Foundation is a non-government, non-profit and charitable social welfare organization that was founded in 2009, named after the Zahedee family of Jhenaidah. The idea of the foundation was initiated by late Zahid Hossain Musa, an eminent personality of Jhenaidah, a language movement activist, a politician and a cultural activist and above all, the guardian of the Zahedee family. Subsequently, the organization was registered with Joint Stock Company and NGO Bureau, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Fundamentally, the organization is focused towards eradicating poverty, facilitating education, accessible healthcare services, developing sports, and building infrastructures. Zahedee Foundation has also been undertaking different development activities for raising the socio-economic status of the disadvantaged, disabled and vulnerable communities in Jhenaidah and greater Jashore districts.
Shams-Ul-Huda Football Academy
Shams-Ul-Huda Football Academy, Founded on May 14, 2011, is dedicated to developing young football talent in Bangladesh. Supported by the Zahedee Foundation, the academy has trained over 200 players. About 37 students of the academy now compete in the different age group of National Level Tournaments.
With strong community support and high-profile visits from local and international dignitaries, the academy continues to inspire and cultivate future football stars in Bangladesh.
